We are now seeking an experienced Day Care Location Manager for our location The Estate, The- Hague. This is a unique opportunity for you to guide, inspire & motivate our childcare practitioners. Zein offers an English and bilingual (English-Dutch) day care service for the growing number of expat families choosing for long-term assignments and even lifetime careers in the Netherlands.
Your key responosibilities as a Day Care Location Manager are to lead, guide and motivate the childcare practitioners. You also ensure the Zein company vision, philosophy and pedagogical approach is applied throughout the location – thereby providing the highest of standards of care and early years’ educational development. You provide pedagogical leadership and guidance to all staff. You develop an environment of personal accountability and motivation amongst your team, leading to a high level of personal commitment to the job, as well as the organisation.
A beautiful location with a homely interior and a large natural playground. The spaces are decorated with natural colours, stylish wallpaper and soft carpeted areas to create a homely learning environment. ‘Dutch De Zein’ furniture brings the outdoors inside by using smooth wooden forms that bring the outdoors inside by using organic shapes reminiscent of a tree. In addition to the five day care rooms, the location offers a fully equipped kitchen where the full-time chef will prepare warm and organic meals and snacks for the children, a large central hall (living room) to provide extra space for indoor activities and a large natural garden with age appropriate areas and different play zones.

- A salary in which you are valued for your experience. In line with the collective labour agreement childcare – scale 9 between €3.192,- €4.252,- (CAO ) plus eight per cent holiday pay, six weeks holiday, end of year bonus, travel allowance, pension contribution & company contribution towards health insurance;

- Available for 36 hours per week, spread over five days;
- Experienced as a(n) (assistant) manager in childcare;
- Proficient written and verbal English and Dutch communication skills (knowledge of
another language is a plus);
- Solution-oriented, and a real people manager real;
- Great organizational and teamwork skills;
- Possession of qualifications to work in Childcare in the Netherlands (for all foreign applicants - IDW / DUO).

Zein’s After School Care is where the fun begins!
